The number on your box
Every layout is checked against Avery's own template files: label size, margins and gaps. Sheets that share a layout share a template, so a number you type finds its twin.

Yes, if its number is in the template list: 20 layouts cover 351 Avery® product numbers, each checked against Avery's own template. Type the number printed on the package. Sheets that share a layout, such as 5160, 8160 and 5960, use the same template; a number that is not on the list is not supported yet.

"Fit to page" shrinks the sheet a few percent, and every label drifts a little further down the page. Actual size keeps each line where it belongs.
Yes. Choose the first free label and printing starts there; the labels before it stay blank.
Print the test sheet on the calibration page, measure two marks with a ruler, and save the correction for that printer. Every PDF you make here uses it.
